Privacy Policy

Effective April 20, 2026

This privacy policy applies to the Collie app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Filipe Franchini Hruba (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

Information You Provide

For a better experience while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:

  • Email address
  • Name
  • Pet information (names, breed, photos, age, behavioral notes, health information)
  • Timezone information

The information that the Service Provider requests will be retained and used as described in this privacy policy.

Automatically Collected Information

The Application collects information automatically when you download and use it, including:

  • Your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address)
  • Device type, model, and operating system
  • Application version
  • Pages of the Application you visit
  • Time and date of your visits
  • Time spent on the Application
  • User interaction and engagement metrics

Camera Access

The Application requests access to your device's camera solely to scan QR codes when joining a household. Camera access is optional and only used when you initiate a QR code scan. The Application does not store, transmit, or use camera footage for any other purpose.

Location Information

The Application does not request or collect precise location data (GPS). However, your device's timezone information is automatically collected to display pet care schedules and reminders in your local time.

No Artificial Intelligence Processing

The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your personal data for profiling, automated decision-making, or model training purposes.

Household Data Sharing

Collie allows you to create households and invite other users to coordinate pet care. When you invite someone to your household:

  • They will be able to see your name and pet information (names, breed, photos, notes)
  • You will be able to see invited members' names and their contributions
  • All household members can view shared reminders, schedules, and coordination notes

You control who can see your information by managing household membership. You can remove members at any time, and they will no longer have access to your household's data.
