Collie has a shared journal: anyone in your household can log what they noticed about a pet, tag it (didn't eat, watery poo, limping, happy, good news, and more, or tags you create yourself), and add a note or a photo. Every entry keeps the pet, the person and the time, so the whole household sees the same history and you can look back and see when something first came up. It is a record you keep and can show your vet. Collie does not interpret entries, suggest conditions, or tell you whether your pet is fine. If you need clinical vitals tracking, charts, or vet-ready PDF exports, a dedicated pet health tracker will serve you better.

Yes, if you want them to. Turn on Remind until done for any task and Collie repeats the reminder until someone marks it done: every 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes, up to 6 reminders. It's on by default for medication, every 10 minutes. Meds always get their own notification, never grouped with other tasks, and one medication task can cover several pets on the same dose.

Yes. Turn on Pause notifications in Settings and Collie stops your other task reminders on all your devices until you turn it off. Medication reminders and your sitter's updates still come through, so a dose never goes quiet.

Collie has flexible recurrence built for real pet routines: every N days (2 to 30) for whatever cadence your life actually runs on, whether that's a flea med every 28 days, grooming every 10 days, or a brush-out every 3; every other week on a chosen weekday for chores like litter deep-cleans or baths; and multi-day weekly patterns. Most calendar apps cap at simple weekly or monthly, which doesn't fit pet life.

No. Collie uses first-write-wins: the moment someone marks a task done, everyone else instantly sees "Completed by [Name] at [time]." A second tap is silently discarded. No duplicates, no confusion, no more double-feeding.

Both cases are covered. You can still open the app, see today's tasks, and mark them complete from your cached data, whether you've lost signal or our servers are temporarily unavailable. Collie syncs everything the moment things recover. If someone else completed the same task while you were offline, Collie handles it gracefully with no errors and no duplicate entries.
